Georgia National Fair: Safety and Entry Reminders Before You Go
Published October 2, 2026
The Georgia National Fair returns to Perry October 8–18, 2026. Check the fair’s entry policies before leaving home.
Know Before You Go
- Bags: Clear bags must be 12 × 6 × 12 inches or smaller. The fair lists exceptions for diaper bags, infant or medical items, and wallet-sized bags. All bags may be inspected.
- Visitors 17 and younger: A legal guardian must accompany them for entry after 5 p.m.
- Public entrances: Use the North, East, or West parking lots and gates. The South Gate is not available for general-public parking or entry.
- Evening arrival: Vehicles cannot enter after 9 p.m. People already on the premises may still purchase admission.
If You Need Help
The fair identifies its First Aid Station as northeast of the Clocktower, beside the Beef and Dairy Barn. For an emergency, call 911 and give your location within the fairgrounds.
Review the official fair FAQs for updates. Fair questions: 478-987-3247.
